Coming to you live on the scene...

So normally there is a 1.5-2 week delay on blog posts about the happenings here in St. Louis, but I had to share some photos with y'all of the crazy weather we're experiencing right now....literally. right. now.

Here are a few photos my friends snapped (and I proceeded to steal from facebook) of the eerie looking sky and clouds this evening.  Around 7:00pm as I was heading to chapter, our weekly sorority meeting, I could not keep my eyes off the black, yet bright, sky.  The sun was setting so that reflected a dirty golden glow through the looming grey storm clouds.  At one point during the 10 minute walk to chapter, my friend and I saw a small patch of clouds spinning quickly above us!  I am safely in my room for now, however while I was in chapter we got hail, heavy rain, and the tornado sirens were sounded forcing all the freshmen in my dorm building into the basement...glad I missed all that madness! Hope this scary weather clears up soon!! Only 2 more days till mom and Jordan are up here!
